Objectives: to help graduate students develop the
ability to plan and implement a research project, more
specifically: a) to ask the right kind of research
questions, b) develop an appropriate and feasible
research design, and c) actually carry it
out
Requirements: a) write and rewrite research a
proposal about the selected topics b) contribute to
classroom discussion
(active participation is always encouraged and highly evaluated)

NB: This seminar will be conducted all in Japanese. Foreign students are
required to have highly advanced proficiency of Japanese.
