Impressions
In order to explore various water-related landforms and relate how they benefit our daily lives, we have included content that allows students to experience oceans, rivers, and lakes with all five senses. We learned a lot from cultural approaches, such as seafood and sightseeing boats that make use of lake topography. Be sure to take a walk along the river with a cup of tofu ice cream, spring-water coffee, or other local delicacies in hand. (K.O)
Mizube Karuta
Delicious Numazu Kaisen-don: Delicious seafood is the best part of the waterside! Crossing Lake Ashinoko on a sightseeing boat: If you want to enjoy Lake Ashinoko to the fullest, you must take a boat! Even though it's a lake, when you get to the middle of it, you'll be overwhelmed by its size. Genbei River over the balcony: It's wonderful to see a river that was covered in sludge and kept away from everyone transformed into a river you want to gaze at from your balcony! Relaxing at Izu Onsen: The seafood and hot springs that only Izu can offer made me appreciate water once again. It's delicious! The best! Comfortable footbath at Atami Station: The footbath in front of the big station is a space for everyone to relax. You don't have to go far to enjoy the waterside! Not-so-long Kakita River: Rich in natural spring water. This is surely "Kakita River Green!" Hakone Aquarium: A water theme park that can be enjoyed by children and adults alike. It's a great way to enjoy the waterside, because each aquarium has its own unique character. (S.M)
