OUDA: A COMMUNITY FOR ALL AGES
Make the community benefit from the new elderly care facilities and the elderly people benefit from the urban renewal proposals. Provide the elderly an healthy, active life inside the community, with flexible schedules and a sense of pride in their work. Addressing the particular needs and problems of Ouda's elderly and contribute to Ouda's general urban development.
Instead of a day care centre in one single building, three independent modules are scattered along Ouda's main street order to bring the elderly to the street, meeting people and stay aware of what is happening in the community.
The activities available and the opportunities to work at the center's facilities are plenty and the schedules varied. The elderly can choose weekly which activities and meals to join or become permanent staff at the day care centre run shops, craft school and traditional museum. The money made at these facilities will be used in other day care centre activities that can contribute to the elderly's satisfaction and health.
地域社会を啓発する今にない高齢者福祉施設、そして高齢者に適応した都市改良の提案をした。大宇陀特有の高齢者問題とそれへ要求に焦点を当て、同町の都市発展に寄与するものである。高齢者に、職への誇りと時間に対する柔軟性に根差した健康かつ快活な環境を提供する。
単一の建物にまとめられている現在の高齢者施設に替えて、それらを三つの独立した機能に分散させ主要道路沿いに点在させる。それらが高齢者を市街へと誘導する動機となり、人々が出会い、動きが起こる可能性をつくりだす。
利用可能な文化活動や施設で職を得る機会は十分に用意し、時間帯は様々とする。高齢者は週単位で文化活動や食事に参加すことができ、また施設の経営する商店、工芸教室および伝統資料館の常任スタッフとなることもできる。施設での営業収益は、充実した高齢者社会に寄与している文化活動に使われる。
